No creo que exista en el mundo un lugar más adapto para pensar en la Luna. Pero Pantelleria es más hermosa. Las planicies interminables de roca volcánica, el mar inmóvil, las casas pintadas de cal hasta las escalinatas desde donde sus ventanas se ve , en las noches sin viento, las franjas luminosas de los faros africanos….. fondos marinos que adormecen….. anforas con giurlandas petrificadas y restos de vino con la corrosión de los años…el baño en cuencas humeantes de aguas tan densas que se puede hasta caminar sobre ellas…”
